1.0 Pre Planning Energy Strategy Pack
A single piece of work provided to the developer/stake holder to support their planning submission. The energy strategy is to provide compliance with local planning authority requirements for sustainable, low carbon energy. The advantage of using ECG is that the solution provided will be grounded in a commercial basis and not in theoretical isolation.
2.0 Energy Services Company (ESCo) Set Up Pack
This is an IP license fee and management fee based solution for smaller schemes where the standard ECG approach is not viable or where the developer/stake holder wishes to have a commercial benefit from being involved in the ESCo.
The Pack includes a sliding scale of options for the developer/stakeholder:
1 ESCo SPV set up
2 ESCo SPV set up and management
3 ESCo SPV set up and management and Operation and maintenance
3.0 IDNO Adoption Pack
This is the provision of the services of ECG subsidiary ECG (Distribution) Ltd to adopt and operate local electricity networks under it's license. This will be particularly attractive to smaller developments that may feel their estate management Co can adequately provide metering and billing and O & M services but need to comply with electricity distribution regulations on scale and third party access. Returns to ECG (Distribution) Ltd will be through design fees, connections fees and use of system network charges.
